New objective: Use my AWG to generate a 1Hz 1mVpp signal and make it clearly visible on my laptop in my custom C# application.

Here's the setup:

Failed! I was hoping to be able to show a full 0-5 V waveform. I find this strange because the AWG is outputting an AC wave but because it's ground is connected to the virtual ground (grey in the picture) the center should have been around 2.5 V.

I also tried with a 1uF/1M highpass filter (cutoff close to 0) but this had no effect. I also tried with a 100 mVpp input and the same happened.

Does this also happen when I use a floating sine wave generator? Yes.
