This is a component which I got from a random piece of circuit board (probably some media device).

I cannot find the datasheet for this item, so I will determine the pinout myself. The labelling shows "739-TFK-3 TDDG-5950-H"

Strangely, on the 3 components I desoldered none of the left dots seemed to work. Also, a few segments would not light up as intensely as others.

I experimented using a 220 ohm resistor and a 5V DC supply. Most of the segments would light up soft but clearly, not too intense.
